DESCRIPTION

The activity "Designing the Concept of Tourism Development and Creative Economic Innovation Based on the History of Bukit Batu Village" is an initiative of the Head of Bukit Batu Village, Mahendra SH. MH., to explore and further develop the various potentials of local village tourism as well as the potential of the village economy through innovations in forms of creative economy that are in line with the conditions of socio-cultural interests, the local environment, and have a direct impact on community welfare.

In its implementation, the Head of Bukit Batu Village began this activity by issuing a policy through "Decree of the Head of Bukit Batu Village Number 23/KPTS/BB/2024 concerning the Establishment of a Team for Designing the Concept of Tourism Development and Creative Economic Innovation Based on the History of Bukit Batu Village" which appointed several HSE researchers to carry out the following tasks:

1. conducting research for the purpose of developing tourism and creative economy concepts based on the history of Bukit Batu Village;

2. conducting an inventory of the conditions and potential of local economic, socio-cultural and environmental interests that are in line with the interests of tourism and the creative economy based on Bukit Batu Village;

3. designing tourism and creative economy concepts based on historical research and other cultural elements related to Bukit Batu Village;d. collecting and mapping the files of Bengkalis Regency regional legal products and various other laws and regulations related to the interests of tourism and the creative economy of Bukit Batu Village and other matters deemed necessary;

4. collect data and policy analysis materials for the interests of tourism and the creative economy of Bukit Batu Village and other matters deemed necessary;

5. provide technical assistance and/or recommendations and/or considerations to the Village Head regarding matters relating to history or other cultural elements relating to the interests of tourism and the creative economy of Bukit Batu Village;

6. report team activities every 6 (six) months to the Village Head or at any time and opportunity deemed necessary.

Based on task (a) as referred to above, every research for the purpose of developing tourism and creative economy concepts based on the history of Bukit Batu Village will be published scientifically by HSE together with the Bukit Batu Village Government.

April 2026 Operational Update:

All field activities and further technical development for this project are officially suspended (pending). This decision was taken in order to centralize all intellectual and technical resources of the HSE Research Team on the completion and implementation of Metasains Veritologi (Veritology Metascience). This project will be reactivated once the metascience audit infrastructure is ready for use as a standard protocol in every future implementation study.
